WSJ: Binance crypto exchange may leave the Russian market

28 Aug — The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance has allowed a complete exit from Russia, the newspaper writes. Wall Street Journal with reference to an unnamed representative of the crypto exchange.
“All options are being considered, including a complete exit (from the country – editor’s note),” the material says.
According to the publication, Binance also prohibited Russians from exchanging digital tokens for any currency other than the ruble.
In April last year, the exchange announced restrictions on services for Russian users after the introduction of Western sanctions.
Binance is the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider with a variety of financial products.
