China has released footage of the launch of a missile that looks like the Dongfeng-17 hypersonic aircraft carrier killer. About this writes the publication “Huanqiu shibao”.

It is worth noting that the footage was published against the backdrop of rising tensions in the Taiwan Strait, as well as on the eve of the 95th anniversary of the People’s Liberation Army of China. The published video is called “The capabilities of the Chinese troops, shown in 81 seconds.”

The video captures various rockets that are launched from the ground, ships and aircraft. The attention of military experts was attracted by the launch of a missile from a mobile transport and launcher. It was located on a highway in the desert.

Experts agreed that the missile resembles the DF-17. China first demonstrated it at a military parade in October 2019 in Beijing.

Recall that Taiwan may visit the speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi. Beijing is against it. China has threatened to take effective measures to protect sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Earlier, CNN reported that Pelosi could arrive on the island nation on August 2. There, the American politician intends to meet with high-ranking officials.
