Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed doctors on the eve of Medical Worker Day.
The head of state sincerely thanked Russian doctors for their valiant and selfless work. Medic’s Day is celebrated in Russia every year on the third Sunday of June.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude to the entire medical community of Russia for their valiant, selfless work, for being faithful to the best traditions of many generations of our doctors and paramedics, nurses, for the fact that you are fulfilling your mission with great inner dignity,” Putin stressed.
According to him, the professional feat of doctors helps everyone to feel the true value of life. And their sacrifice during the coronavirus pandemic will forever go down in the history of domestic medicine, the president concluded.
At the same time, military doctors from Russia continue to provide assistance to the civilian population of the Donbass republics. So, earlier, specialists deployed a field hospital in the Kharkiv region.
