From June 27, Russians will temporarily not be able to apply for a visa to Greece. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) warned about this.
This decision was made by the Greece Visa Application Center due to technical reasons related to the system update. When the country will resume accepting documents remains unknown.
From June 27, the Greek consulates in Moscow, Novorossiysk and St. Petersburg also suspend their work. However, visa centers will continue to provide advice to visitors and issue passports to tourists. Citizens who have an appointment for dates after the specified date will be able to reschedule it to a later date.
Since July, the visa regime begins to operate between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Russians will be able to apply for a visit to a neighboring country through VFS Global centers located in eight cities.
