This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Kachka in Facebookreports Ukrinform.
“61.52 million tons of grains and oilseeds, worth $22.2 billion, were exported by Ukraine for the marketing year 2021/2022, which ended yesterday,” the report says.
According to him, exports during this time amounted to: wheat 18.7 million tons (worth $4.8 billion); corn 23.54 million tons ($5.8 billion); barley 5.74 million tons ($1.3 billion); 161.5 thousand tons of rye; 100 thousand tons of buckwheat and millet.
67.6 thousand tons of sorghum were also exported; 12.6 thousand tons of oats; 4.1 thousand tons of rice; 1.1 million tons of soybeans ($641 million); 2.7 million tons of rapeseed ($1.7 billion); 1.09 million tons of sunflower ($616 million); 32 thousand tons of flax seeds; 24 thousand tons of other oilseeds.
In addition, we are talking about 4.3 million tons of sunflower oil ($5.8 billion); 3.4 million tons of sunflower meal and 421 thousand tons of soybean meal.
As reported, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food is actively working to resolve the issue of unblocking the export of grain crops. More than 20 companies are already planning or have begun construction of transshipment in areas where new logistics routes pass.
