

Thai police have arrested two Russian citizens on suspicion of a cryptocurrency scam that resulted in the deaths of several locals. It is reported by TASS.
According to media reports, Daniil Aldunenkov and Roman Brik carried out illegal cryptocurrency and banking operations.
The National Police of Thailand announced that they had received arrest warrants for 11 suspects who opened bank accounts for malefactors. There is an aggravating circumstance in the case – a local resident killed his wife and two minor children after the scammers forced the woman to transfer a large amount of funds taken on credit to their account.
In this regard, Aldunenkov and Brik were denied bail. They face 30 to 50 years in prison.
