Transit to Yamal-Europe gas pipeline stopped again

The capacities of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline were not booked on Thursday, transit was again stopped, RIA Novosti reports with reference to a message from the operators of the German and Polish gas transportation systems.

According to the operator Gascade, which receives gas in Germany, the reception of fuel at the Malnov point on the border with Poland ceased from 6:00 on Thursday local time. Prior to this, it occurred in the amount of 11.5 million kilowatt hours (1.1 million cubic meters of gas per hour).

According to the Polish capacity distribution platform GSA Platform, on gas days Thursday (measured from 6 a.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday, ed.) Until now, no capacity has been reserved, 38.3 million kilowatt-hours remain available for booking.

Earlier pumping in the direction of Germany stopped on the morning of Tuesday, May 26, the rest of the day gas was sent by reverse from Germany back to Poland.

The contract for the transit of Russian gas through Poland expired on May 16, and from May 17 pumping through the Polish section of the Yamal-Europe pipeline will be held only at the end of auctions.
