The trade turnover between Russia and China in the first five months (from January to May) of this year increased by 23.6% on an annualized basis, to $ 50.65 billion, TASS reports with reference to the General Customs Administration of the PRC.
Over the five months of this year, imports of Russian goods and services increased by 15.4%, to $ 27.735 billion. By the end of May, exports increased by 35.3% and amounted to about $ 22.921 billion. The volume of trade for the specified period between the two countries amounted to $ 10.449 billion. However at the end of 2020, trade between Russia and China decreased in annual terms by 2.9% and amounted to $ 107.76 billion.
At the same time, trade between China and the United States from January to May this year on an annualized basis increased by 52.3% and amounted to $ 279.64 billion. Exports to the United States increased by 49.8%, to $ 206.05 billion. Imports of American products increased by 59 , 8%, to $ 73.59 billion.
