Five cities at once entered the rating of the most popular places for a romantic getaway, as well as for a marriage proposal. This is reported by ATOR, referring to the study of the National tour operator “Alean”.
30,000 Russians took part in the survey. The place of the leader is traditionally occupied by St. Petersburg, for which 46% of respondents voted. Here they visit the Kisses Bridge, griffins, embankments and the “arrow” of Vasilyevsky Island.
In second place are the mountains of Sochi. Viewing platforms at the Gazprom and Krasnaya Polyana resorts have become favorite places for tourists. You can go to this place for a weekend or honeymoon trip.
The top three is closed by Kaliningrad. It is most attracted by ancient castles, streets and bridges. The top five also included Sakhalin and Nizhny Novgorod.
