‘Titanic’ actor dies at 80

Titanic actor David Warner has died at the age of 80. This was reported by The Guardian on Monday, July 25.

The actor’s family said that he had been battling cancer for a long time.

“We will miss him greatly. We will remember him as a kind-hearted, generous and compassionate man, partner and father whose legacy touched the lives of so many over the years. We are heartbroken,” the relatives said in a statement.

Warner was born in Manchester in 1941. He described his childhood as “troubled” and “chaotic”.

After high school, he studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. From the beginning, Warner was unsure of his acting ability and appearance.

However, Warner’s career spanned film, stage, television and radio. He has played more than two hundred roles, among which the most notable in the films “Omen”, “Tron”, “Titanic”, “The Lost World”, “Planet of the Apes” and “Time Bandits”.

The report notes that he spent his last days at the Denville Hall nursing home, which provides care for professional actors and representatives of other theatrical professions.
