Timati acquired acquired all the assets of Starbucks in Russia

Rapper Timur Yunusov (Timati) announced the acquisition of all Starbucks assets in Russia. He wrote about this in his Instagram account (owned by the Meta organization, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation) on Saturday, July 30.

“Now officially, all the assets of the SB chain (Starbucks – Ed.) have been acquired and are under our reverent leadership with Anton Pinsky,” he wrote.

He noted that the opening of the first points will take place in August, adding that the team is currently working on finding a new name.

Visitors should not expect a big rebrand, he said. And the artist invited his subscribers to take part in the development of a new logo design, the best of which will be chosen before September, after which it will decorate more than 200 coffee shops across the country.

Earlier it was reported that restaurateur Anton Pinsky, Timati and the holding company Sindika, senator from Kabardino-Balkaria Arsen Kanokov, will buy Starbucks in Russia.

On May 23, Starbucks announced its withdrawal from the Russian market. However, the company kept the salaries of its employees.

Foreign companies have begun to suspend their activities in Russia or leave the Russian market amid the geopolitical situation and the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation.
