The victim of an explosion of household gas in a residential building in Kolomna near Moscow is in serious condition. This was announced on Tuesday, January 10, by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region.
“As a result of the incident in Nepetsino, one person was injured. At the moment, he is hospitalized in a serious condition in the Kolomna hospital. Doctors provide him with all the necessary medical care,” Interfax’s source in the department said.
The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region organized a pre-investigation check into the incident. Investigators and criminologists are now working on the spot, all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
The regional prosecutor’s office also organized an investigation in connection with the gas explosion in Kolomna.
“During the audit <…> a legal assessment will be given to the actions of responsible persons, including with regard to compliance with legislation in the field of ensuring the safety of gas equipment. According to the results of the check, if there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken, ”says the Telegram channel of the prosecutor’s office.
A gas explosion in a residential building on Timokhin Street in Kolomna, Moscow Region, became known earlier that day. According to Izvestia, a man born in 2000 suffered. There was no open combustion after the explosion. In the second entrance, the windows on the stairwells were broken. The entrance doors in two apartments were also damaged, in one of them the partition between the kitchen and the bathroom was destroyed.
