The State Duma called the laws coming into force in August

In August, a number of laws will come into force in Russia, the press service of the State Duma reported on July 31 on the official website.

Thus, the pensions of working pensioners will increase. As specified, the amount of the increase in the amount is individual and depends on the insurance premiums paid by the employer in 2021.

The procedure for registration as a self-employed person is simplified. As Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin noted, it will be possible to register for tax purposes by submitting an application to the Federal Tax Service (FTS) through the State Services.

“This opportunity will also be provided to citizens of the Luhansk People’s Republic and the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the press service quoted Volodin as saying.

In addition, from August 1, the Federal Tax Service will be able to provide other persons with information about the taxpayer, if he has given his consent to this.

Amendments to the law “On Weapons” will also come into force, according to which, among other things, it provides for a limit on the number of civilian weapons. It is forbidden to collect it if there is no right to purchase.

The State Duma ended the session on July 6. It became the first spring in this convocation of the parliament, which began work in October 2021. Volodin said that since January of this year, 361 laws have been adopted, of which 35.2% are socially significant. 1203 legislative initiatives remained under consideration. The next session will start on August 30th.
