He added that the latest suspended universal reconnaissance containers provide such opportunities for aircraft. The Su-34 uses three types of containers – optoelectronic, radar and electronic intelligence. With their help, the complex can “transmit information about enemy military facilities to ground forces and firepower through automatic communication channels in near real time.”
On July 23, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the combat work of Su-25 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces as part of a special operation. In the process of performing combat missions, the crews of Russian aircraft launched missile air strikes on military facilities and equipment of Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Missile launches were carried out in pairs from low altitudes.
On July 27, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the work of the crews of Mi-8 helicopters with modern electronic warfare systems installed on board during a special operation. It is noted that the pilots of the army aviation of the Aerospace Forces performed the tasks of suppressing the means of electronic intelligence and guidance of the enemy.
