The Russian film “The Little Humpbacked Horse” to be shown in North America

Grindstone Entertainment Group has acquired the rights to the Russian film The Little Humpbacked Horse, which will be shown in North America, the press service of Roskino reported. The deal took place as part of the Key Buyers Event online film market.

“The CTB film company together with the distributor Luminescence announced a major deal on the Little Humpbacked Horse project. Grindstone Entertainment Group (Lionsgate) has acquired the North American rights to the film, “Roskino’s press service said.

Also, a number of international transactions were concluded by Soyuzmultfilm. Jetpack acquired the rights to the international screening of the Plasticines project, British animation company Bill Melendez Productions (UK) Ltd – to the comedy series Pirate School, and the French distributor Playbig will distribute the series for preschoolers Captain Kraken and His Crew in the South -East and South Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.

The Little Humpbacked Horse is based on the fairy tale of the same name by Pyotr Ershov. The film was played by Anton Shagin, Paulina Andreeva and Mikhail Efremov. When creating the image of the Little Humpbacked Horse, the movements, facial expressions and voice of Pavel Derevianko were used.
