The authorities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have agreed to start creating a “gas union”, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During a conversation with journalists after the EAEU summit in Bishkek, the head of state specified that this initiative was supported by other participants in the process who are already ready for joint action. The implementation of this issue does not have any significant obstacles, however, its implementation requires a lot of systematic work, as well as expert assessments.

Putin also drew attention to the fact that representatives of Kazakhstan will soon arrive in Moscow to discuss the initiative, and representatives of Uzbekistan have recently paid a visit to the capital of the Russian Federation.
