The Ministry of Health announced the stabilization of the situation on COVID-19 in Russia

In Russia, the epidemiological situation with COVID-19 is stabilizing. This was reported on Friday, July 15, in the press service of the Ministry of Health.

“Currently, there is a stabilization of the epidemic situation for a new coronavirus infection, the number of active cases of COVID-19 is steadily declining, which made it possible to restore the provision of planned medical care to citizens,” the message says.

The department added that medical facilities that were previously redesigned to provide medical care to patients with coronavirus in most regions returned to work in the main profile.

The Ministry of Health also noted that during the pandemic, 77 new infection service facilities with a capacity of more than 11,000 beds were created across the country.

Earlier, on July 11, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko said that while a serious increase in the incidence of COVID-19 is observed in a number of other countries, the situation in Russia remains calm, but this does not eliminate the need for vaccination and revaccination.

At the beginning of the month, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, signed a decree lifting all restrictions imposed due to COVID-19. In particular, from July 2, the mask regime, the ban on catering at night, and a number of other measures are cancelled.
