Packaging manufacturer Tetra Pak said on July 26 that it was transferring its Russian division to local management due to the inability to maintain the company’s operations in Russia amid sanctions.
Meanwhile, Russian manufacturers have already found a replacement for imported packaging.
So, after Tetra Pak left the Syktyvkar Dairy Plant, they switched to a new package – craft cardboard, which does not need to be bleached with oxygen. Such a solution reliably preserves the consumer properties of products.
“A decision was made to switch to craft cardboard, which is not inferior in terms of its technical characteristics to Tetra Pak laminated cardboard. The factory orders craft cardboard in Moscow. Basically, craft cardboard is used for packaging milk, kefir, yoghurts,” said Nina Savanu, the plant’s technologist.
