The living wage in Russia in 2022 will be 11,950 rubles. For the working-age population – 13,026 rubles, for children – 11,592 rubles, for pensioners – 10,277 rubles. The draft of the corresponding government decree is posted on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
The minimum wage (minimum wage) in Russia will grow by 6.4% in 2022. According to preliminary estimates, the minimum wage in 2022 will amount to 13,617 rubles. The draft federal law defining the minimum wage for the next year is being finalized, according to the Ministry of Labor.
The subsistence minimum is 44.2% of the median per capita income calculated by Rosstat. The median per capita income is the value, the income of which is more and less than half of the population of the country.
According to Rosstat, the median income in 2020 was RUB 27,036, which is 2.5% higher than in 2019 and 1.6% higher than forecasted. In 2020, the median salary was 32,422 rubles, which is 6.4% higher than in 2019.
