The jury acquitted the director of “Russian Harvard”

The jury delivered a verdict of not guilty against the ex-director of the Russian Harvard private school Vasilisa Maslova. This was reported by the correspondent of “Izvestia” from the hall of the Gagarin court.

It is noted that she was found not guilty of organizing the murder of the wife of the capital’s municipal deputy Mikhail Khananashvili because of jealousy. Maslova was released from custody.

According to the woman, she is glad that it is finally over.

“Probably he [Хананашвили] I wanted to whitewash myself by denigrating me. However, the jury stopped this attempt of his, ”said Maslova.

She noted that she still does not know the whole truth and does not understand what happened. The former principal of a private school does not know if she will be able to return to work. She only pointed out that now she needs to learn how to live again.

Earlier, on January 13, 2020, a criminal case was opened in Moscow on the fact of attempted murder of a woman. The investigation believed that the mistress of the victim’s husband, Vasilisa Maslova, acted as the customer of the crime.

The attack took place on January 9th. On suspicion, a man and two women, including the customer, were detained in it.

Investigators believed that the suspect, who worked as the director of a private school in southern Moscow, “was in a relationship for a long time” with a man. She attracted two former students to the attempt on his wife.

One of the perpetrators tracked down when the victim was walking home and informed her partner, who attacked her with a knife. The victim received at least six stab wounds, but survived.

It was noted that Svetlana Khananashvili, the wife of Mikhail Khananashvili, a municipal deputy of the Akademichesky district of Moscow, was attacked. This is not the first attack on her; in 2019, an unknown person punched the woman twice in the head. The deputy himself said that the incident was connected with his professional activities.
