The Investigative Committee of Russia took control of the verification of the legality of the decision to demolish Shagin’s house in St. Petersburg

Petersburgers, who are not indifferent to the architecture of the city, are trying to save the historic building. Shagin’s house is an object of cultural heritage. However, in 2019, the conservation status was removed from its main building, which allowed the dismantling work to begin.
