The organizers of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), according to the founder of the Anderson cafe chain Anastasia Tatulova, offered her to pay 960 thousand rubles. for speaking at the forum. According to screenshots of the correspondence posted by Ms Tatulova, a representative of the organizers informed her assistant that speaking as a speaker does not exempt participants from paying a fee.

“Yesterday my assistant wrote to me that in order to speak (at the SPIEF. – “B”), I have to pay 960,000 rubles for a ticket to the forum, ”Ms. Tatulova wrote on Facebook. The letters published to her indicate that forum participants must “pay the registration fee,” and participation in the business program “does not exempt and does not give any special payment terms.” The entrepreneur said that she would not participate in the SPIEF.

Tickets for SPIEF in 2021 cost from 840,000 to 960,000 rubles, according to the forum website. A more expensive ticket gives you the right to participate in the plenary session. Ticket prices have increased up to 2.4 times compared to 2019.

The forum website also states that Ms. Tatulova should speak at the session “NEP 2.0. How to ensure economic growth in every home? ”. The session will be moderated by business ombudsman Boris Titov, and among the other participants is businessman Oleg Deripaska.

This year, the SPIEF Forum will take place from 2 to 5 June in face-to-face format at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Center. As Kommersant has reported, hoteliers note that bookings during the forum have decreased by 20% compared to 2018, while the class of demanded rooms has increased.
