The creators of the game “Trouble” presented concept art and a promotional website for the project

The developers of the historical role-playing game in the genre of action “Trouble” presented a promotional website for the project with concept art and character animation, the Cyberia Nova studio announced on Thursday, July 28.

On the site you can get acquainted with the visual style of the game, see several characters and game assets (resources that can be used in the game). The presented concept art will show the boyar residence Teply Stan, weapon models of future heroes, desktop wallpapers and a video demonstrating combat animations of the Russian archer.

“The launch of the Smuta promo site is a significant event for our team, it is a small but very important step on a long journey of project development. We are going to regularly update the Internet resource,” said Alexei Koptsev, head of the Cyberia Nova studio.

The historical game in the actionRPG genre “Troubles” will immerse the player in the Time of Troubles. The lone hero, who will become Prince Miloslavsky, will have to go through various quests, improve his skills, moving along the storyline.

The literary basis of the project was the novel by Mikhail Zagoskin “Yuri Miloslavsky, or Russians in 1612”. The release of the game is scheduled for the end of 2023. The project is supposed to create two plot additions.

In December 2021, the game “Trouble” became one of the winners of the competition of the Internet Development Institute (IRI) for the creation of national content. Its developers, the Novosibirsk studio Cyberia Limited, received a grant of 260 million rubles.

In June, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) hosted a discussion titled “Games of the New World: Prospects for the Development of the Gaming Industry”, during which leading industry experts discussed the possibilities for developing gaming in Russia. Aleksey Goreslavsky, General Director of ANO Internet Development Institute, said that the gaming market has about 50 million users. In terms of audience volume and time spent on games, the industry surpasses many others.

In March, the head of MY.GAMES Store, Rodion Kotelnikov, told Izvestia that the Russian video game market could develop even under Western sanctions. He is sure that there are many talented developers in Russia. He also assured that Western companies would be replaced by Asian ones. In addition, the expert did not rule out that the Russians will play through cloud services.
