The cost of aluminum on the LME rose above $2.4 thousand per ton for the first time since April 3

The cost of aluminum on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose above $2.4 thousand per ton for the first time since April 3, 2023, follows from the data of the trading platform.

As of 15:19 Moscow time, the price of the metal at the moment reached $2,410 per ton.

By 15:24 Moscow time, aluminum quotes slowed down to $2,404 per ton (+1.5%).

At the beginning of March 2022, the cost of a ton of aluminum updated its historical record, rising to $4,074.
