The amount of damage in the case of the detained administrator of the Novy Vek Telegram channel Alexander Gusov is 12 million rubles, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported.
According to the agency, Gusov, who was detained earlier in a criminal case, oversaw the activities of a group that blackmailed Russians by publishing false materials. A businessman became a victim of swindlers. The man lost 12 million rubles. He transferred funds for several years.
Part of the amount was received by the head of the PR agency, and the rest of the money was transferred to the organizer of the criminal scheme, who is hiding abroad.
