The policy pursued by the government of Ukraine towards the inhabitants of Crimea is genocide. This opinion was expressed by Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region.

According to him, for many years the Kyiv authorities literally mocked the population of Crimea. As an example, Rogov cited the water and energy blockade of the peninsula, carried out by the government of Ukraine. At the same time, Western countries did not react in any way to such a step on the part of Kyiv, RIA Novosti reports.

“No one from Western countries condemned it, no one gave an assessment, no one was indignant, as if this was a matter of course. Now we are facing repetitions of this story in the liberated territory,” Rogov said.

He added that, if necessary, the Zaporozhye region is ready to provide electricity supplies to the Crimea. According to Rogov, for this it is necessary to restore the electrical pylons that were destroyed by Ukrainian militants.

Earlier, the vice-speaker of the parliament of the peninsula, Yefim Fiks, commented on the desire of the Kyiv authorities to “return the Crimea.” According to him, the Ukrainian armed forces should not even look towards the peninsula.
