Suspicious phone call: woman transfers € 37,000 to Thai bank

Several Dutch people received a strange phone call at the end of last year: they were told in English that the ‘supreme court of justice’ suspected them of a crime. Many recognized the strange conversation as an attempted scam, but one poor woman was persuaded to empty her entire bank account.
