Suspected Michigan shooter accused of terrorism

A suspect in a high school shooting in Oxford, Michigan, USA, was charged with terrorism and murder. This was reported in the prosecutor’s office on Wednesday, December 1.

“We accuse him of one episode of terrorism leading to death and four murders,” FOX News reported.

The student is also prosecuted for seven counts of assault with the intent of murder.

On December 1, it became known that the number of victims in the shooting at an Oxford school in a suburb of Detroit had risen to four. The fourth victim was a 17-year-old student.

Earlier, the shooting killed a six-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl. Also during the incident, eight people were injured, they were taken to hospitals with various injuries.

The accused, a 15-year-old student, fired 15 to 20 shots with a semi-automatic pistol. He is currently in custody.

On the same day, the shooting was reported to US President Joe Biden. It was noted that the American leader is monitoring the situation and receiving regular updates of information.
