In the midst of the Corona transition, there has been a huge sell-off in the stock market today. The BSE’s main index Sensex closed at a level of 47,949.42, down 882.61 points, or 1.81 per cent.
Apart from this, the Nifty index closed at 14,359.45, down by 258.40 points, or 1.77 percent. In today’s trade, the Nifty has closed at a one-week low. In today’s business, there is a slight increase in pharma shares.
Today, out of the 30 SENSEX shares, only 2 shares have closed in the green mark. In this, Dr reddy closed with a gain of 1.58 per cent. Apart from this, Infosys has closed with a gain of 0.74 per cent.
Apart from this, there are 28 stocks on the list of shares sold. In this, the power grid closed down by 4.17 percent. Apart from this, shares of ONGC, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Bank, LT, Bajaj Finsv, Asian Paints, NTPC, Bajaj Auto, Axis Bank, SBI, Bharti Airtel, TCS, ITC, Tech Mahindra, and Sun Pharma have been falling.
Talking about the sectoral index, today only the healthcare sector has closed in the green mark. Apart from this, selling has been dominating in all. BSE Auto, Bank Nifty, Capital Goods, Consumer Durables, FMCG, IT, Tech, Oil and Gas, PSU, and Metal sectors closed down.
