The developers of the Squid cross-chain protocol presented the possibility of exchanging blockchain assets based on EVM-networks and Cosmos. The Block reports this.

To implement the new solution, the project integrated tools from Axelar Network and Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC), and also entered into a partnership with the decentralized platform Osmosis.

In January, Squid raised $3.5 million in seed funding in a funding round led by North Island Ventures.

Recall that in June, the cross-chain protocol Connext raised $7.5 million at a valuation of $250 million.
At the beginning of September, the project conducted an airdrop of the NEXT token.
