
About 10,000 residential buildings in the Japanese prefecture of Ishikawa have been left without water for several days due to bad weather. The repairmen are unable to fix the frozen pipes due to the heavy snowdrifts.
According to the NHK TV channel, residents of five cities and towns in Ishikawa Prefecture cannot use water for the second day. It is noted that the cold damaged the water pipes. Access to them is complicated by abundant snowdrifts.
