Search area for missing child five days ago expanded in Orenburg

In the Orenburg region in the Novosergievsky district, the search for a six-year-old boy continues for the fifth day. The operation zone was expanded to 20 km.

The search goes on around the clock. The area is being examined by the police, local residents, volunteers from the OrenSpas detachment, volunteers from different regions of the Orenburg region. They check wells, cellars, attics, floodplains of rivers and lakes.

According to Ural56.Ru, the police worked out several versions the day before. They examined the neighboring villages of Kamyshki and Upper Kunakbay, checked the reservoirs. Volunteers are now dismantling the tracks they have passed, marking the closed squares on the map.

Every day more and more people join the operation. According to the coordinator of the PSO “OrenSpas” Irina, it was decided to expand the search area, and if necessary, the geography will be even larger.

The divers of the emergency rescue unit continue to work, RIA “Orenburg” reports with reference to the regional department of safety and security. Specialists, together with volunteers, survey the coastal zones and the water surface of the river on the territory of the Sredneuransky village council.

Today, at a meeting of the operational headquarters, they will coordinate the next place to search for the child.

The boy left his grandmother’s house in the village of Akhmerovo on July 24. Since then, his whereabouts are unknown. According to law enforcement agencies, the child is disabled. He has cerebral palsy and speech delay.
