The Sakhalin schoolboy transferred more than 50 thousand rubles to swindlers in order to make his virtual character in the online game “become stronger”. The boy used his parents’ bank cards for this, local media write.

It all happened in Okha, where the family lives. The minor was playing an online game and received a message from an unknown man. The latter offered the child to buy accessories for virtual fun from him, but asked to pay with real money, not virtual money.

The schoolboy agreed and transferred more than 50,000 rubles to the fraudster in two installments – from his mother’s and father’s cards. The parents filed a complaint with the police.
