Russian ship arrived in the South African port of Cape Town as part of an expedition to Antarctica

The ship is owned by the RosGeo company, which is engaged in the search for oil and gas. “Academician Alexander Karpinsky” left the port of St. Petersburg in November 2022 to take part in the 68th Russian Antarctic Expedition (RAE).
