Russian Guards delivered humanitarian aid to the children’s rehabilitation center

The servicemen of the Russian Guard delivered another batch of humanitarian aid to a children’s rehabilitation center in a settlement liberated during a special military operation to protect the population of Donbass. Izvestia correspondent Daniil Levin spoke about this on July 24.

Toys, stationery and food kits were donated to the children of the institution. In gratitude for the support provided, the pupils arranged a concert for servicemen from the special forces department who arrived from Siberia.

The day before, it was reported that the military personnel of the Brave group delivered more than 5 tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of Lisichansk in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). In order to avoid a food collapse, humanitarian convoys are formed and sent immediately. It was clarified that trade has not yet been established in the city. Most of the shops have been destroyed, people often do not have enough money for even the simplest purchases.

Prior to that, on July 20, a cargo of humanitarian aid was distributed to a remote area of ‚Äč‚ÄčLisichansk, where humanitarian convoys had not previously reached. Food packages for the civilian population include cereals, pasta, tea, canned food, sugar, sweets for children and diapers.

Earlier, on July 9, residents of Stakhanov in the Luhansk People’s Republic received humanitarian aid from the hands of the National Guard. The residents were delivered cereals, pasta, canned food, sugar, tea.

The start of work to provide humanitarian assistance to the DPR and LPR from the Russian regions became known on June 14. As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted, Russia and its leadership will do everything necessary to help those who live in Donbass.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which the President of the Russian Federation announced on February 24, continues. The decision to hold it was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military, in connection with which the authorities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics turned to Moscow for help.
