Roskosmos called on the S7 company to transfer the Sea Launch floating space center to the use of the state corporation, but at the moment it has not made a decision on this issue. Director General Dmitry Rogozin spoke about this.

He said that Roskosmos offered to transfer this complex to the state so that the state corporation could find an opportunity to restore it. According to Rogozin, S7 has no decision on this issue at the moment. The head of Roscosmos made this statement during the broadcast on the Russia-24 TV channel.

Rogozin also stressed that the floating spaceport is in “satisfactory physical condition.” However, “tens of billions of rubles” are needed to adapt it for the Soyuz-5 rocket.

Earlier, Rogozin said that the new Chelyabinsk tram is a beautiful response to Western sanctions. The head of Roscosmos highly appreciated the car model 71-628 of the Ust-Katav Carriage Works.
