Ripple Takes a Big Step in Europe Sponsoring Money20/20 Europe 2023

Ripple has announced that it has sponsored the Money20/20 Europe 2023 event in Amsterdam. The event is scheduled for June 6-8, 2023.

Anthony Welfar, Ripple’s CBDC strategic adviser, announced this on Twitter today. “Ripple is proud to be sponsoring the upcoming Money 20/20 Europe conference taking place June 6-8 in Amsterdam,” he said.

Although Welfar did not disclose the financial details of the sponsorship, he noted that the blockchain company will have a dedicated booth at A150.

At the booth, visitors will learn more about Ripple’s solutions directly from company executives. The participants of the event will also have the opportunity to network with some of the most famous players in the European fintech industry.

Sponsorship of the Money20/20 Europe 2023 event has its own unique benefits. According to the organizers of the event, all sponsors can showcase their products and services to thousands of potential customers, members of the press and influencers.

Welfar also revealed that Ripple will take part in the Unchain Fintech Festival for the second year in a row. The event will take place June 29-30, 2023 in Romania.

Ripple will meet representatives of European banks and fintech companies, including Citi, TBI Bank, Alpha Bank and Finshape.

For context, the Unchain Fintech Festival brings together the brightest minds of the fintech industry in Central and Eastern Europe. This year’s festival agenda is packed with important topics including CBDCs (central bank digital currencies), next-tier payments, fintech innovation and regulation, among others.

Recent events related to the Money20/20 and Unchain Fintech events suggest that Ripple is making significant efforts to expand its presence in Europe.
