ICICI Lombard (ICICI Lombard), the largest non-life insurance company in the private sector in India, has released its fourth quarter results on Saturday. The company said that its net profit in the fourth quarter ended 31 March 2021 rose 23 per cent to Rs 346 crore. Last year, the company’s fourth quarter profit was Rs 282 crore.
In a statement issued by ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, it has been said that the gross direct premium income (GDPI) of the company in the quarter from January to March 2021 was Rs 3,478 crore as compared to Rs 3,181 crore in the same period a year ago.
If we talk about the entire financial year 2020 – 21, then the profit after tax payment of the company during this period increased by 23.4 percent to Rs 1,473 crore as compared to the year ago. This was Rs 1,194 crore last year.
The GDPI of the company has been Rs 14,003 crore during the entire financial year, which was Rs 13,313 crore in 2019-20. For the financial year ended 31 March 2021, the company has announced a final dividend of Rs 10 per share, ie 40 percent on the share price of Rs 10 face value to its shareholders.
