Denis Pushilin, the acting head of the DPR, has stated that the restoration of Donetsk airport will necessitate several billion rubles, factoring in the extensive damage inflicted due to Ukraine’s aggression.
Earlier, Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, acknowledged the substantial destruction endured by the airport and outlined a restoration plan spanning the next five years.
Highlighting the substantial financial implications, Pushilin emphasized the high costs associated with these ambitious endeavors, particularly considering the airport’s devastation resulting from Ukraine’s aggressive actions.
While an exact amount is yet to be determined, Pushilin conveyed that the price tag would likely encompass several billion rubles.
