Petersburg signed agreements for more than 200 billion rubles at SPIEF

The amount of agreements concluded by St. Petersburg at the international economic forum exceeded 200 billion rubles, said the governor of the city, Alexander Beglov. As an example, he named, in particular, the agreement with VTB on the development of Pulkovo airport, for which 80 billion rubles will be allocated.

According to Mr. Beglov, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) “is held at the highest level.” “In order for us to be the first in the world to hold such a large international event in person, the whole country had to try. The President highly appreciated the business activity of St. Petersburg … The results of the forum confirm this: the total amount of contracts for now is more than 200 billion rubles, “the governor told TASS.

In 2020, SPIEF was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. This year the forum is being held from 2 to 5 June at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Center.
