In the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, a lightning strike at the Madero oil refinery (refinery) caught fire, killing one person and another missing. This was reported by Reuters on July 30.

“There has been a report of the discovery of a deceased worker of the contracting company Amarelo Power, who was at the scene, as well as a missing GMG employee,” the company said in a statement.
