The fatal accident occurred near the village of Firsovo on the 87th km of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Okha highway. The driver behind the wheel of a Nissan Serena lost control and collided with an oncoming Toyota Land Cruiser 200. As a result of the impact, the perpetrator of the accident died on the spot, his passenger was injured. The traffic police are on the scene of the tragedy.
