Oilmen will redirect fuel export to the domestic market

The Ministry of Energy recommended that Russian oil companies redirect export volumes of oil to domestic refining, TASS reports with reference to the agency.

The recommendations provide for a total production level at the level of June 2019, that is, more than 3.1 million tons per month, as well as an increase in shipments to the domestic market at a rate that exceeds the expected growth in consumption.

As noted in the department, all companies confirmed their readiness to comply with the recommendations of the Ministry of Energy in full.

The ministry is confident that the capacity and volume of production will create a surplus in fuel supply in Russia. This in turn will help stabilize the price situation in the wholesale segment.
