Number of injured in drone strike on Black Sea Fleet headquarters rises to six

Six people were injured when a UAV drone hit the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said on July 31.

“Early this morning, the Ukronazis decided to ruin Navy Day for us. An unidentified object flew into the courtyard of the Headquarters of the Fleet, according to preliminary data, this is a drone, ”Razvozhaev wrote on his Telegram channel.

As he said, two of the wounded are in a state of moderate severity. Security forces are on the scene.

According to updated information, a low-power explosive device mounted on a makeshift drone went off.

Russia continues the special operation to protect the Donbass, the beginning of which President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24. A few days earlier, the situation in the region escalated significantly due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.

The authorities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics announced the evacuation of residents to the Russian Federation, and also turned to Moscow for help. On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree recognizing the independence of the DNR and LNR.
