Novak said that pre-gasification will not affect tariffs

The supply of gas to the site (the so-called “last mile”) within the framework of free gasification will not affect either industrial or retail consumers, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. The Federation Council approved the law on free gasification of homes on June 2.

Mr. Novak discussed the topic of connecting citizens to gas on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. When asked whether the introduction of pre-gasification will affect gas tariffs for all types of consumers, the Deputy Prime Minister replied: “No, it will not” (quoted by TASS).

The sources of financing are funds from Gazprom and the Unified Operator (gasification. “B”). Point, ”said Alexander Novak.

He added that we are talking about our own funds, including those received from the tariff of the gas distribution organization.

Russian President Vladimir Putin in his message to the Federal Assembly on April 21 said that all houses in settlements should be supplied with gas free of charge, he instructed to do this until 2030. After that, the government prepared a corresponding bill. By the second reading, the deputies and senators headed by Vyacheslav Volodin and Valentina Matvienko made amendments, thanks to which gas to the boundaries of the household plot will be carried free of charge. At the same time, Ms. Matvienko believes that gas should be supplied to the house, and not to the site.

What objects will fall under the terms of the law, read in the material “Kommersant FM” “Private houses will be connected to gas.”
