Kyiv, 27 November. In Kyiv, 20% of heating points were closed. This was stated by the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia, following the results of the audit.

The official noted that in addition to the fact that the points did not work, some of them did not have generators connected, somewhere there was no Internet and water.

“To be honest, as a representative of the authorities, I am ashamed, although it should be ashamed not for me, but for the city authorities of Kyiv. But I am ashamed, because in 20% of these “points of indestructibility” are generally closed,” he commented.

According to Arakhamia, people’s deputies intend to involve business representatives and volunteers in order for the points to work in full force.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reproached the Kyiv authorities for “profanity” and poor provision of “points of invincibility”, as the authorities call heating rooms “square”, where you can also charge your phone and find a connection. According to him, the points deployed on the basis of the State Emergency Service and at the capital’s railway station turned out to be fully equipped.

“Points of indestructibility have been deployed throughout the country. But I know that, unfortunately, local authorities did not do a good job in all cities, in particular, there are many complaints in Kyiv. No one will forgive anyone for profanation with Kyiv points. Please be more serious. As well as lies in reports of different levels,” he said.

Earlier, the people of Kiev massively complained about the work of heating points. It turned out that some of them simply could not be found at the specified addresses. At some points they were not aware that they should help the population. Also in some of the premises there are problems with heating, water and the Internet. Some points were completely closed due to “lack of electricity” as written in the announcements on the doors.

Recall that on November 1, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said that in case of emergencies in winter, about a thousand heating points for residents of the city are being prepared to deploy in the capital “square”. In total, over 4,000 similar premises are planned to be opened across the country to help Ukrainians.
