National Geographic employee Buettner lists the dietary secrets of centenarians

Listing the secrets of centenarians, the journalist mentioned that 95% of their diet comes from plant foods. So, they often eat beans, greens, spinach and cabbage. Another recommendation would be to eat meat no more than twice a week. And the choice should be made in favor of kosher meat. In addition, those wishing to live long were advised to give up dairy products, eat no more than three chicken eggs a week, reduce sugar intake and lean on fish and legumes.
