Moscow and Minsk will hold joint military exercises “Union Shield – 2023”. Events of the day

Two friendly states – Russia and Belarus – have begun preparations for holding military exercises “Union Shield – 2023”. This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus Viktor Khrenin November 2.

The RF Armed Forces continue to delay the front line in different directions. In the course of unsuccessful counter-offensives by the Kyiv regime, about 600 Ukrainian fighters, more than 10 tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles and 24 vehicles were destroyed. This was reported during a daily briefing by the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov. It also became known that with precise tactical strikes, the Russian army destroyed a nationalist ammunition depot and a fuel storage facility for Ukrainian military equipment.

In Crimea, on November 2, a 44-year-old man was detained, who planned to undermine several power transmission towers in one of the regions of the peninsula. According to police officers, the detainee is a citizen of Ukraine and an agent of the SBU. The man was caught red-handed, he had three high-explosive explosive devices, instructions for their use and a diagram of the location of power transmission towers in one of the regions of Crimea.
