More than 20 billion rubles were won by the participants of the Stoloto brand state lotteries in six months

In the first six months of this year, participants in state lotteries won a total of 20.3 billion rubles. This was reported by the press service of Stoloto.

According to her, in January-June, 96.6 million lottery tickets became winning. Every month, the winners won an average of 3.37 billion rubles.

According to the results of the first half of the year, 570 participants of Stoloto brand lotteries became millionaires. The winners of the Russian Lotto New Year’s draw received the largest prizes: on January 1, ticket holders from the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea won 500 million rubles each. The total prize fund of this draw amounted to almost 3 billion, with over 14 million tickets winning.

Also, one of the largest winnings in the first half of the year – more than 235 million rubles – was received by a participant who bought a ticket in Moscow. In addition, residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (almost 84 million and 67.5 million), Tatarstan (about 64 million), and the Omsk Region (41 million) won cash prizes for record amounts for the specified period. All winners with record winnings have already applied to the lottery center and issued their prizes.

Since 2014, all lotteries in Russia have been state-owned, they are organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, and they are held under the state supervision of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. State lotteries under the Stoloto brand (part of Armen Sargsyan’s S8 Capital diversified holding) are a significant source of replenishment for the budgets of various levels of the Russian Federation in order to finance socially significant objects and events, including events for the development of physical culture and sports, elite sports and the system training of the sports reserve, thus making a commensurate contribution to improving the quality of life of Russians.
