Enterprises can receive a loan at a preferential rate “to maintain current activities.” This allows “to ensure the uninterrupted work of industry participants in the current economic situation,” the government’s press service said. Earlier, 7 billion rubles were already allocated to support the backbone enterprises of the fuel and energy complex. The program for lending to the backbone enterprises of the fuel and energy complex was launched in April. Measures to support business began to be discussed against the backdrop of sanctions imposed in response to the Russian military operation in Ukraine. In particular, the government has prepared a system of state support for the supply of foreign critical equipment, including for the fuel and energy complex.
